NEVER again puh-lease

ok so I went there on a date because apparently the restaurant had good ratings and reviews. Got off the car and was utterly disappointed by the look and the size of the restaurant. Thought oh well let's go inside, it may not be that bad after all! .Went in. OH MY FREAK'N GOD. The smell killed me. literally. Thought ok so... let's try the food, it might not be bad! JEEEZ, the food had no taste to it :S at all, void of attraction and taste. The plates were good though! I'd give 'em that. On top of everything they only gave us one hot sauce and one soya sauce sachet, which was quite depressing and cheap in itself. I tried my best to eat as much as I could not because I liked the food or anything but because I didn't want my date to leave unhappy but that ended up happening anyways =(. I wouldn't recommend it at all. End of story.

Great (almost) Authentic Chinese

Great (almost) authentic Chinese food. This place probably has the best Chinese food in Hamilton and is super filling. I have never left starving, but always leave wanting more. Service is always great and often comes around to check if your order is right and if you would like anything else (when your are finished) they are also very helpful and explain dishes well for first timers. Decor is a bit cheesy, though it has improved. Looks like something straight out of a Bruce Lee film, it is also in a shady area of town and out of the way for people who dont drive and live outside of the downtown core - like myself. If I had more time to get down here Id go at least once a month.

Very !!!!!!!

For a chinese restaurant, I would have to admit the food was very good. The presentation was excellent and the server, whom I beleive, is the son of the owner was excellent!!! The Ambience was typical Chinese, Fast food takeout type restaurant. The place was generally clean; although the ceiling in the basement where the washrooms are located was very low, I was surprised as to how clean the washrooms were. Parking was ample. Price is very competitive with any typical chinese resteraunt in the GTA, but with the great service and the quality of the food, this has to be one of the best chinese restaurants that I have been to!!!!

Excellent food, Excellent Service!

We visited South Sea for dinner a few nights ago and wow, the food was incredible. I really love Chinese food, and I have tried my share in Hamilton, but I must say that South Sea is the best. The food arrived at our table hot, and steaming. The service was top notch, and whatever we wanted, we received in a flash! I'm not really a big fan of food presentation, but I must say that the people at South Sea do an amazing job of making the food look fantastic with fresh flowers and other garnishes. I would definitely recommend South Sea, and we will definitely be back for more!

I haven't had had any trouble with service there...

I haven't had had any trouble with service there either. Highly recommended! They have a great website too. The best Chinese food in the ham town (Hamilton) hands down!!
