I called Trap electric for an emergency outage at night when the temperature was -20. They responded quickly and had my power back on within 45min of me calling them. During the service call, i spoke with the technician about converting to LED lighting for my home. I proceeded to use them to do the conversion and noticed the saving on my hydro bill. Not only did they help me out in an emergency, but they also ended up saving me money in the long run. They're service was excellent.

I’m sorry you feel you had a bad experience, the quote was for the job and it was not including the travel time which was mentioned up front. As for incompetent, I am an electrician not a thermostat sales representative. I can guide you to selecting a quality product however specific features and functions are left for the consumer to decide which product is best suitable.
