The food was predictable for the roadhouse crowd. However, after the waitress dropped a plate of sause on the floor beside me, which splashed on both my shirt and pants, the manager discounted my lunch bill by 10%. This amounted to a whopping 94 cents. Truly insulting. I will never return either by my self or with a crowd.
Our waiter was relatively friendly, so no complaints about him. The presentation was very poor though. Salads came in big, ugly, kitchy bowls. The forks and knives looked like they hadn't been washed properly. The garlic bread was alright but why did they have to bring it in still wrapped in paper? Not aesthetically pleasing at all. We waited around half an hour! for our meals. Mine tasted worse than a Lean Cuisine frozen meal. It was truly the most horrible thing ever and I think I paid $15 for it. The pasta had definitely been dumped out of the freezer and boiled. There was supposed to be ricotta cheese in it had not taste and texture whatsoever. The sauce was runny and mediocre and there were barely any pieces of asparagus and pepper, but the ones that were there had come straight out of a freezer. Overall: hideous. Never again!
The service didn't bother us but the food totally did. There weren't much seafood and even less pasta, and the sauce was tasteless. You could open a can of Campbell cream of mushroom soup and make a better pasta sauce. The chicken was slightly overcooked and the ribs were severely overcooked. It was an interesting atmosphere, with the decor and the noise and everything... but their food has really driven me away.
My capaletti was cold when I received it. The server asked how everything was. I told her it was cold. She rolled her eyes. We asked for the bill and she rudely came up behind my guest and slammed it on the table. Needless to say we left no tip. and we will not be returning to that location
Server was very nervous and made us uncomfortable. Ordered shrimp bowties and chicken bowties, both of which we've had before and enjoyed. Food came out much slower than usual, my pasta was unbearably spicey, even for someone who loves firey food. First server brought my fiancee the wrong meal, said she grabbed the wrong one, but didnt come back with his for 10 minutes. when it came it was soggy pasta in soup, with bits of rotisserie chicken. I explained all this to the served, who said "dont worry, I dont care,. I didnt cook it" when I apologized for complaining. Manager came over and told me next time to order my pasta less spicey, but took it off the menu. she did not mention the other pasta which is what we were actually upset about sine it tasted AWFUL. Im guess the server messed up, they rushed the meal and it could have been solved easily, but the server im assuming lied. I dont expect much anyways from ESM, but come on, have SOME standards
