I visited Anjappar for the first time since I came to canada two months ago and it instantly reminded me of the restaurant in south india. The taste was almost close, which is really impressive and the service was good too. I ordered chicken manchurian, the chilli uttapam, and kal dosa. The fair amount of time was taken to provide the food and the food was mild spice. Listening to south indian music and having south indian food was an amazing experience that i have experienced in past two months :) I am going Back again for sure :)
Went for the weekend morning buffet with my friends finding the food to be delicious and the place was very clean. Although there wasn't much variety, the taste and aroma of the available variety made sure u get satisfied. Being Non-veg restaurant they also had quiet a variety for vegetarians too, great news!!. The food keeps telling us they are typical indian food, which is good and impressive as it is hard to bring the taste thousand miles away from the original chettinad restaurant.
The south Indian restaurant that was perfectly matching the taste of south India is absolutely Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant in Scarborough.
The taste of food was really impeccable. The crispy dosa, uttapam, were just amazing. Mutton keema Dosa was really extra ordinary in anjappar and no one else serves it. I will strongly recommend this for any one wants Dosa with meat.
The restaurant had specials on every day, the one I tasted was Thursday special, Naan with butter chicken for just $ 4.99. Unbelievable rates!

If you love Indian foods, you will never go to other Indian restaurants again other than anjappar. Definitely this is one of the best for variety, quality and affordability.
