We stumbled across this all-day "family" restaurant and decided to have breakfast and some friendly conversation. The table beside us, who arrived after us, got their food before the waitress even took our order. After getting our food (which was ok) we enjoyed some conversation. The waitress dropped our bill on the table before our plates were taken and never bothered to ask us if we wanted anything more. Shortly after, the owner came by, leaned over and put his hands on my side of the table and told us that we had been there too long, that the waitress was losing money, that he was losing money, and that we should go. We got up and paid, told him that what he did was disrespectful. He did not apologize but scoffed at that remark and stated "I was respectful" and that it was his restaurant. After saying we would not return, he said, "Fine by me." If he treats paying customers who are just minding their own business this way, I wonder how great of a boss he is. I've never been told to leave a restaurant before. The two of us will not be back and we do not recommend this place. They seem to care about money, not customer service.

To all the people complaining about grumpiness...maybe you reap what you sow? We have been going here for 20+ years. Waitresses generally are long-timers and know the regular customers. We have always gotten a smile and or a wave from most of the staff as well as the owners. They do a great brekkie, they have something for everyone on the menu.

I have been here a few times. They seem to have a number of regulars. Food is good and the place clean. It is the typical family restaurant to visit for a quick meal. Usually I get the roast beef dinner.

I always go to this lovely family friendly restaurant whenever I want to meet my best friend for lunch or breakfast. It's a very basic "diner" style restaurant. The service depends on which waitress you have, I've had great service and below average service. The coffee is always hot, the soups are always fresh, and the sanwichwes and portion sizes are always larger than life. Great breakfast selections, and it's the perfect place to go and chat with some family or friends for a very casual dining esperience.
