    Very accomodating

    This place is worth a visit. The ambiance is lovely, the service is great, the wine list excellent and the food terrific. The menu is not overly long but there were some terrific specials in addition. Our party chose a number of different dishes, many to share (without any complaint from the staff). The bread they brought our table (with 2 refills as it was so good) with olive oil and balsamic was freshly baked. All our dishes were very good and no one had complaints. The bill was quite reasonable and all were satisfied. Definitely worth the time to visit. I wouldn't hesitate to go again. The complimentary Limoncello was a nice touch as well, thanks to the delightful owner, Frank.

    Over the top good food.

    Wow, what a wonderful surprise and fun experience. I hosted a group of 12 people for a business lunch - location picked by one of the group who had been here a few times before. We all ordered and shared tastes - everything was fantastic! Lamb, salmon, Lobster ravioli, soups, salads and a variety of deserts. I can't wait to go back with my family

    Fantastic restaurant.

    fantastic meal in a gorgeous restaurant with impeccable service. Even though they are absolutely packed with patrons you never feel rushed. The pasta dishes were as good as the ones we had in Rome. The service was friendly but professional. The wine list was well rounded with multiple price points. I can't wait to go back. Highly recomended !!! b

    Can't wait to go back.

    The food and service were amazing! Very quaint Italian restaurant! It was by far the best dinner during our stay. Priced were very reasonable. Our waiter was extraordinary. Every time he walked past our table, he made eye contact to say "is everything ok? Do you need anything?" They really get it -- the "customer experience" is key. For example, we were at the bar and the waiter was pouring a drink. I said to my husband "I wonder what that is?" The next thing I know the waiter had put (2) glasses in front of us to sample. Amazing! I recommend the La Piazza Fettucine with pesto chicken. Outstanding and the best I've ever had. We will definetely be back again. Can't wait!

    Food is very good!

    Thanks to reviews on Restaurantica, we tried La Piazza this weekend and were not disappointed. We arrived on a Friday night without reservations, but sat at the bar while a table became available. The martinis were delicious!! We waited approximately 30 minutes, but once we sat at our table, it was a wonderful experience. Great service and great food! The lasagna is the best I have ever had. They give you a large helping, so sharing would be possible! We can't wait to return. It is our new favorite Manotick restaurant. Go with a healthy appetite Well worth it!!
