This was our second visit and neither of them were very good.
The calamari was covered in tasteless breadcrumbs and after two bites my girlfriend sent it back. The waitress turned her nose up and said we'd have to pay for an alternative.
The soup was actually excellent on both visits, maybe they should just become a soup kitchen! It is very tasty and certainly worth paying for a full bowl.
The pasta was just "ok". The sauce was more like a soup, very runny/watery and wouldn't stick to the pasta which could easily be fixed and I have no complaints with the flavour.
We shared a dessert (pear/apple tart with ice cream) and it was nothing special and very small. The single scoop of ice cream totally covered the tart itself.
I get the impression that the staff think they are the best in town and don't need to try but quite frankly you get better service at the Sub shop.

Always amazed at how hype, and people with more money than culinary taste (or lack of anywhere else to eat) can drive a business. Food was ok in general, although the Farfalle was absolutely bland. The Calamari was atrocious, soaked in oil and about the size of Cheerios. Table was right in front of a sliding patio door that does close very well (they lazier staff tend to leave it open) and anyone within 10 feet of the door freezes. DO NOT sit near the patio door unless it is hot--If is hot sit outside. Before I really start to ramble, ease off the self promotion, ego, Toronto-priced, nonsense unless you have the jam to back it up.
We went with high expectations, but we were quickly disapointed. We were seated at a make shift table directly beside the bathroom doors. To even think of doing this was amateur hour. That issue aside there was no flavor what so ever in the ceasar salad. The spaghetti in garlic and whisky sause was swimming in sauce but there were less than a hand full of noodles in the bowl. Comments from our table were similar. The kitchen seemed to be run by cooks who think they are chefs, and instead of sticking to the system, were working to a lower standard. (How do you screw up a ceasar salad?)
The owners of this restaurant really tried to make it as if they were the celebrities of Huntsville's dining scene. Self promotion, however, does not compensate for flavour that is too strong, nor the hefty price tags. I wonder if they tailor to someone whose sense of taste has been partially numbed. As well, it is more expensive than the restaurants in Toronto of similar class and level. ($70 for lunch of two which included 1 appentizer, 2 entries and 1 coffee).

The food should have tasted alot better for the price. Our server came to our table twice on his own the rest we had to call him over. The server was the worst dressed person in the place, he looked like he had just came back from hiking. Overall a terrible dining experience. We left a small tip and also left with mental pictures of Jeff because his picture is everywhere in that place.
