I love this restaurant! I just celebrated my Birthday here and the excellent food and casual, friendly and knowledgeable service made dining a real treat! I have eaten here several times and have always been so pleased. Kelly is fabulous and her wine suggestions were both appreciated and enjoyed! Beware - You will have to keep going back so that you can sample EVERYTHING on the menu (you'll have to since with the generous portions, you'd never need seconds!) This is ABSOLUTELY a restaurant to try (that won't hurt your wallet either!) PS - make sure you leave room for their delicious homemade desserts! YUMMY!!

The food was delicious and there were many more great items on the menu I would love to go back and try. The service was great. Our server answered all of our questions, from the salad dressing ingredients to how the almonds were toasted and whether certain dishes were popular. The atmosphere was very nice, not casual or too fancy, but very welcoming and a little classy (Guelph standards). Make reservations. Highly recommended!!
We went there with friends who had a bad experience and we convinced them to try again and to our delight we had a fantastic meal and service. We will definitely go here again!

I noticed that the negative review on this site are from before Einstien's Cafe came under new management. If you haven't been there since the management changed you really should give it another look.
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is all homemade using fresh ingrediants with creativity. This makes for some of the best food in Guelph. The service is warm and friendly as is the atmosphere. This is a must try if you love great food!!!
