I always enjoy a chat with Steve. A brief chat, he is an extremely busy guy, and no wonder - he does an amazing job, and will be totally up front if something cant be done.
Remember, everything is made overseas these days, and is often only made to sell, not to last, and not to be repaired.
Steve will let you know to fix, or not to fix. Only thing is he doesnt charge enough, but dont tell him that.
The shoe repair man was very, very rude. Didn't even greet us when we entered the store. Snapped in an ugly voice when asked if he could fix a pair of shoes...well, isn't that what your business is...fixing shoes? You should learn to greet your customers by getting up, saying hello and asking how you can help them. Would rather buy a new pair of shoes than have an old pair fixed by this rude man.
