Kerrie Brodeur had been working out of her home as a hair stylist for eight years while she raised her young children. When she decided it was time for something outside the home, she came across Blush Hair Company for sale and made the leap into owning her own business. “I wanted to work for myself," Kerrie says. "I had worked for myself for so long and I knew I didn’t want to work for anyone else.”
Under Kerrie's ownership, Blush Hair Company has expanded, taking over the space next door and adding two new stylists. While the space may be larger now, it hasn't lost any of the comfort and tranquility that Kerrie and her staff have worked so hard to instill. “You get the quality of a high-end salon with a more comfortable atmosphere. It’s not so clinical,” she says. “Some of the big spas, I feel, are becoming clinical and not warm and inviting.”
