After Kathy Pham married her husband and moved to Canada in 2000, all she wanted to do was pursue her career as a nail technician. Along with training in her home country of Vietnam and in Canada, Kathy spent a decade working at various spas and nail salons, while waiting for the right opportunity to open her own.
“I love my job, I love offering people these services,” Kathy says. “While I wanted my own spa, I knew I needed more experience working with nails and with Canadians. So I waited until 2010, then I opened what was Dancing Nails. I renamed it Lucky Nails because it sounded like more fun.”
Kathy is a skilled nail professional and expects nothing less from her qualified staff. “All my staff are highly trained and professional,” she says.

Every time I go in I have to ask them to get clean tools. Pay attention ladies and only use places that take your health and the cleanliness seriously. I hope the owner sees this review and properly changes things. I was there at closing. Not one foot sink was disinfected. Perhaps a health inspection is in order.
I went here as close to home but had a couple of concerns. I couldn't hang my coat as coat rack blocked by chairs. As I struggled was told just to hang it on my chair. Techs never spoke more than a few words to me and the ones who were not busy were sitting on the pedicure chairs doing each other's feet. The equipment did not seem that clean and I felt not enough attention paid to my cuticles during nail fill. Will try another shop.
The owner is rude and says rude things about customers. Only know this because my boyfriend is Vietnamese and was telling me what they said. This place is expensive for not a very good job. The owner was aggressive and cut me. She had gbe nerve to charge me 60$ for a nail fill that isn't donenough very well. Be aware if you choose to go to this horrible place. They will say rUdell things about you and your nails or hands or feet.
I went to this place today and have to say the experience was overall awful! First of all me and my friend booked an appointment for both of us at 1:00, they final sat my friend down at 1:30. They did her first and waited for her to get hers done which took an hour and a half then started my nails. she didn't understand a word I was saying. my jewels fell of after 10 minutes and my nails hurt very bad right now. I have lumps in my nail acrylic nails. I am very disappointed with this place.
I thuroughly enjoyed my experience and my nails turned out great! The manager ensured we payed at the end so we were 100% happy with our nails.
Horrible!!! I made the mistake of giving this place 3 chances and each time I was more disappointed then the next. They have no idea how to do almond shaped nails even though I asked a few ties to make sure and each time they assured me they know how. I had each nail be a different lengths and one was leaning towards the left and one to the right. I asked that she fix them and she had no clue what I was pointing at. It was very obvious that it was crooked. I also didn't appreciate her talking to her fellow nail techs about me in her language. Not professional at all and they have no standards what's so ever. Attention to detail is something they need to work on but it's too late as they have lost me as a customer.
Terrible terrible service. Rude, rather than taking to us, they kept talking about us to each other. Tried to charge me more for the same thing I always do, then lied about it. Messed up our nails, then insisted that was the way it was done. Never go there!!!!
well... all was great until the shellac started to wrinkle in my fingers ( don't use 99) they then kept blaiming me for touching the nails to the light (this isn't my first rodeo.... I KNOW what to do) they then had to repolish several times which drug them into panic mode as it was after hours.... once finally fixed after my hands being manhandled by the multiple ladies now dressed in their winter coats and boots because it's 7:19pm they had the audacity to charge me full price.... they made me feel that this was my fault.... even though it was ALL 10 nails which after five different coats of #99 it was still doing the same thing.... this is a HORRIBLE place.... fingers crossed that the 5 layers of colour coat won't just fall off now.....
THREE WARTS!!!!! I usually have a esthetician I see but she was booked up and so decided to try this place out since it was close to home. Worst mistake ever! I've never had a wart or should I say warts; I'm in my late twenties and I got three on my hands that appeared soon after my visit to this nail place! :( Awful, just had them taken off by my doctor, it was so painful. I will never go back there and as I don't typically write reviews....ABSOLUTELY had to create this account just to write this and simply tell people what my experience was like to prevent ppl having the same problem :( Thanks.
BEYOND HORRIBLE!! 1. the guy doing my nails was terrible. 2. he uses a VACUUM to suction off the nail dust and the table and YOUR hands! its ridiculas 3. he kept farting the entire time he did my nails and I wanted to throw up! 4. my nails were bumpy and horrible looking so I asked to have them redone by someone else! the girl that re-did my nails was worse! they were thick and the white colour and coat were yellow! DISGUSTED!

The lady that did my pedicure was so nice and very gentle and I was relaxed and enjoyed it. I have had them done before and never been happy at other salons because they were rough and not very friendly. I had a great experience and will definitely be going back!
I brought my daughter to have her nails done for her birthday and she had a blast. They turned out great and she is very happy. They are open on Sunday which is a plus.
I'm not one to complain in reviews but im so dissapointed that i feel other people should know that spending their money here is not worth it. Not only did they barely speak to me during my mani pedi but they talked to each other in their language throughout the whole time i was there. There was no attention to detail, no massage or anything, she barely attempted to pumice my feet, on top of that she didnt even rub the lotion into my skin just spread it around and then put a towel on my legs. Needless to say i didnt tip, i didnt want to pay for it at all but i felt bad (daft as that sounds) And what topped it all off on top of that was they were generally quite rude to any other customers that came in, they had no cares what so ever.
