A vital member of Oshawa's restaurant scene, Dines Family Restaurant first opened their doors for business in 1964. Current owner Mike Hamdan offers patrons generous portions of quality homestyle food at the beloved spot, which is best known for its all-day breakfast and hearty steak on a kaiser.

“My partners and I decided to buy into the business because of its history in Oshawa,” says Mike. “We offer American and Canadian food, everything is fresh and made in the kitchen here. Nothing is out of a can and everything is made from scratch. You really feel like you’re eating at home when you come to Dines Family Restaurant.”

We usually come to Dines restaurant for the great breakfast they have,so this time we went there for dinner.Great food,real mashed potato with the steak and souvlaki and fresh cut fries for my burger.Great waitress.Excellent price/atmosphere.
