“We turn emotions into flowers,” says Jeffrey Wilson of Reed’s Florists. “We take a customer's vision and turn it into reality. We are a part of the big occasions in life from the start to the end. It is such an honour to be part of it all.”

Reed’s Florists has been ‘part of it all’ since 1912. One of the oldest businesses in the Durham Region, in the early days they grew their own plants and flowers on land adjacent to their store. Eventually they sold the land in order to focus on retail. “Now 100 per cent of our plants are from Ontario and 75 per cent of our flowers are,” explains Jeffrey.

A full service florist dealing in retail, design and all-day delivery, Jeffrey along with co-owner and brother Philip, provides arrangements for all kinds of events with a special emphasis on weddings. You can also pick up a bouquet at any of the three stores or purchase beautiful giftware. “We work with all budgets,” assures Jeffrey. “Customers can pick from standard designs or make up their own. If they need some help, we have a team of designers on board who are more than happy to provide some pointers.”
