I have been to Fabricland in Prince George many times and they are so happy and helpful. I have no idea why there would be a bad review. So please don’t judge by one person’s opinion. I have recently got into quilting and they are amazingly helpful.

Lots and lots of fabric, and the employees are very helpful. Too bad with inflation I can't afford to buy more. Definitely check out their bargain center in the back.

I couldnt possibly say enough about G and the team at Overseas Fabrics. There has never been a company with more heart for serving their customers. They have been an amazing resource to us with all they do to source and supply fabric and notions. They are fast, priced well and the customer service experience is top notch. In a time when so many great fabric stores are closing Dressew give us all hope! They have so much stock it is amazing. You can almost always find what you are looking for in the right size and colour! They are very busy so this makes shopping midday challenging. Go early if you can. The absolute best imported laces and designer fabrics in Canada here! Great range of fabrics including polys,cottons and great wools from Europe.
The customers service is extraordinary,they will go out of heir way to help you pick the right fabrics for your garment. They have a great list of seamstresses for those that need a custom garment made.
Truly a wonderful experience!!! Ask for Ingrid the owner for that personal touch,extremely experienced and knowledgeable about her stock!

I went to Fabricland today to start a project with no measurements. I selected my fabric and CHERYL asked me if I needed help. I explained my idea and she searched through pattern books to find the right one for me. AND she explained how to customize the pattern to suit my idea, showed me other fun projects (I explained I'm new at sewing) and then, measured the correct amount of fabric for me. I couldn't believe how she attended to my little project, like a wise friend. CHERYL was superb!

Love this store.
It s very clean and lots of varieties. The people are very helpful and friendly, and when you are ready to get your fabric cut there is no waiting as they have enough sales people to cut.
The prices are are good and so are the sales.

Excellent service from most staff. Saada is always pleasant, knowledgeable & helpful. Not so with Humaira. Last week she was abrupt and rude. Manager was very helpful and apologetic. Love the store,its always clean and tidy thanks to the managers.

This is not just a regular sewing store, but a place you come to go have fun, learn in such a relaxed atmosphere, which makes learning so much more successful. I have had other instructors, but honestly Lisa is one of the best of the best, and always full of positive encouragement, even takes your mistakes and turns them into learning opportunities :) You are given the opportunity to learn, share and just have fun. This is a great little shop. I had my first quilt top stitched here and it turned out way better than I thought it would. Great attention to detail. And at a reasonable price. Not the greatest in modern fabric choices for sale, but that's what you get in a tiny, northern town.

My only regret is that I did not take advantage of their ability to produce a salwar/kameez overnight. He was also right about my dupatta - he said I should have 2 1/2 meters but I bought only 2 meters. In the end, he was right.
The shop is clean and cheerful. Neighbors include every kind of other shop such as lovely gold jewelry, Punjabi restaurant, sweets shop and such. A great location with plenty of parking.
If gas were not so costly I would certainly shop there more often, but I live in Seattle...

Anita and the staff are so helpful! If you're uncertain about anything related to sewing, they're all considerate and supportive. Fabrications has a huge amount of fabric: everything from unbleached cotton to fabulous silks & wools. Plus, they have notions, patterns, and ideas. If you want to make it special, definitely drop by & have a browse. Buy what you need for your special project.
