Where to shop for the OVO festival in Toronto
If you’re a Drake fan, you most definitely know about OVO Fest – a massive three-day concert that goes down annually in the 6 and brings a stellar lineup of special guests to the city (including Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Jay Z, Lil Wayne and The Weeknd). October's Very Own
899 Dundas St W, Toronto ON M6J 1V9This is no doubt the obvious choice. Drake’s store, October’s Very Own Toronto flagship has OVO clothes and accessories aplenty. Grab sweat shorts with the famous owl logo and an OVO tee or polo, or rock Drake’s new line of “Know Yourself” tees, sweats and caps. You can even go so far as getting an owl logo iPhone case. The great thing about the OVO line is that it’s not in-your-face fan wear – the logos are subtle. They’re stylish clothes you can hit the 6 with everyday.
Get Fresh Company
498 Queen St W, Toronto ON M5V 2B3If you’re going to go to a Drake concert, you’re going to want to represent Toronto. For $40, you can get a cap with YYZ embroidered on the front at Get Fresh Company. GFC also has great minimalist wear from basic t-shirts to sweats. Their Barebones, Ribless Bomber, and Mammoth Capsule collections are all made in Toronto. You can even find hot designer pieces like denim by Kollar Clothing and “I’m Broke Baby” tees by New Regime.
Untitled & Co

Celebs like American DJ Diplo, rapper Lil Debbie, Katy Perry and Perez Hilton have been seen in them. Grab a couple of those and Snoop, Biggie, Tupac, and Jay-Z face-printed sugar cookies, while you’re at it. They’re sure to get people talking at your pre- or after-party, and will make a great addition to your Instagram feed – let the festivities begin!
Fitzroy Boutique
98 Ossington Ave, Toronto ON M6J 2Z4Speaking of parties, adding a few celebrity prayer candles to your place will sure get you in the spirit of OVO Fest. Ossington Ave's Fitzroy Boutique is where you can find them. Think: Drake, Rihanna, Prince, David Bowie on 9-inch glass candle containers. The store also has Peace Collective’s Toronto tees (you know the ones: Home is Toronto and Toronto vs Everybody) and totes with lyrics like “Blame it on my wild heart” by Stevie Nicks. They also have great summer dresses. Tip: Their silk slip dresses will look great layered over a tight tee and an OVO cap paired with sneaks.
Brimz Hat Boutique
56 Kensington Ave, Toronto ON M5T 2K1Toronto’s homegrown Brimz Hat Boutique might have the greatest caps to complete your OVO look. Go for the caps by 6ixside Clothing Co. and Peace Collective emblazoned with phrases steeped in TO pride (6ix Side, Home is Canada, and Home is Toronto). Brimz also carries its own collection of caps, which includes a series of celebs embroidered on the front (appearances by Mike Tyson, Kanye, Bruce Lee, Biggie, Aaliyah and Tupac). Community 54
1275A Queen St W, Toronto ON M6K 1L6Inspired by vintage streetwear, this shop in Parkdale has some great statement collections. At Community 54, you can find beanies declaring things like Unity and Community Over Everything. Their Air Bart snapback caps are perfect for OVO Bounce, the festival’s annual men’s basketball tournament. Other options include hip-hop artist Smoke DZA or “RAP” t-shirts that you can pair with a beanie of The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face motto embroidered.
Nomad
819 Queen St W, Toronto ON M6J 1G1The decided cool guy in town, Nomad has done tons collaborations with celebs (including a recent with Justin Bieber). Their 416 and 431 graphic long-sleeve tee collab with Been Trill went viral when Kanye West wore it at his Toronto concert in 2013. Shop Yeezy’s Crepe boot in taupe, paired with Comme Des Garcons Play emblem tee (which rapper French Montana is seen toting in one of Drake’s Instagrams).
