Food Bank
Emergency food and clothing, a listening ear, community referrals, advocacy and other tangible support is provided for those who are seeking support. We have three locations in Mississauga to support those facing food insecurity. Find your postal code in the map below and call the office that serves your area. We are here to help.
Serving Mississauga with Compassion
At Mississauga Community Church, we believe in putting our faith into action by serving those in need. Our community services are dedicated to providing support, hope, and practical assistance to individuals and families throughout Mississauga. From our food bank and outreach programs to counselling and support groups, we are committed to making a positive impact in our local community. Whether you’re looking for help or want to volunteer, we invite you to join us in spreading love and kindness to those around us.
Supportive Programs
Our three different sites in Mississauga offer a helping hand in many different tangible ways. We offer a variety of programs and supports to help people of all walks of life when they might need a hand, or a step up. Please contact us if you are interested in any one of our programs and we will gladly assist you.
Summer Camps
Every year we send 80 children to our summer camps for a life changing experience. Our camps are operated by The Salvation Army Ontario Camping Ministries who seeks to ensure campers, staff, and volunteers feel a sense of belonging within this safe and fun community, that they are encouraged to grow in a variety of areas through camp opportunities, and that they experience and learn more about Jesus and His amazing love for them. Registration starts in February, please contact your local site for more information on the registration process.
Christmas Assistance
The Christmas season can be a wonderful and meaningful time for so many families, but it can also be a time with added costs, anxious feelings and loneliness. This season, if you are having trouble putting a gift under the tree for your children, if you are experiencing loneliness without friends and family, or if you are struggling in any way, please contact us. We would love to be the listening ear, a place of comfort and the help you need this season.
