The service was awful I've never been so badly mistreated in a restaurant ever. We picked up the food as the waiting delivery time was 50 min. Once we arrived there the lady was rude, atmosphere was bad, and they forgot to give us 1 order. Once we got home and realized 1 plate was missing (which we had paid for), we called and asked if we could have it delivered, she refused as they were too busy and kept telling us it was not there fault. The food was not even good and one plate of the other plate was the wrong order too. P.S. I've never complained about a restaurant in my life, but seriously do not go there!
I Recently moved from Orleans and I must say that this restaurant is one of the things I miss the most. I have tasted everything on the menu (some favs many times) and I can honestly say that I have never been dissappointed! The service and (very well priced) food is always top notch. Ambiance is so so, but if a great meal in a clean and friendly enviroment is what you seek... it here!
PS - with online ordering system and home delivery these guys do it best.
So I have been here before. The pho (Vietnamese long rice noodle soup) is good, but I have had much better. Still, I wanted a quick pho to go. So I order one to go. I bring it home, take out a (clean) bowl. I first put the noodles/chicken in the bowl, then pour the broth.
To my horror a dead earwig floats up. I realise that earwigs are just about everywhere but you would think a restaurant would have better sanitary practices so as not to allow the possibility of such an event occurring. A cover on the broth container maybe? How about storing foam containers where earwigs can't get to them?
How they did not see this dead insect floating in the broth is entirely beyond me.

I've been to Bien Pho many times I always order the same thing cause Im very picky of what I eat. The food is good the service was good. I only had to wait 10 min for my rice and chicken platter with salad on the side. So the experience is different for eveyone.
We stopped at Bien Pho on our way home last evening, thinking that like many other Pho restaurants we've visited for take out, it would be a short 10 minute wait.
We sat there for 20 minutes waiting for our food. When I asked how much longer it would be I was told "we can't estimate - it should only be another 5 minutes". Let it be noted there were only 2 couples already eating in the restaurant, and 1 take out order ahead of us. We each ordered a vermacelli meal and shared a order of rice paper rolls with Chicken (2 rolls).
After finally getting our food and taking it home I bit into the rice paper roll to find a nice long hair fully rolled into the rice and lettuce. Needless to say we will never be visiting this establishment again.
I love this restaurant, everytime I eat there I leave feeling healthy and not bogged down by heavy ingredients. Not a "fancy" restaurant but definitely a favorite and my kids love it too, which is pretty impressive for a meal without chicken nuggets and fries! A great change from the typical family quick meal but at the same price.
It was a disaster. We were in the area and had a coupon so we thought we would try it. First indication of the lack of authenticity is that the owners are Lebanese not even Asian. They were arguing when we got there and to top it off didn't come to us with a menu for 10 minutes. The food was disappointing to say the least. The chicken was not even grilled, it was greasy Shawarma ... I would bet money on it. NEVER AGAIN! Go at your own risk or if you have a less than distinguishing palette.
The good choice is to go another vietnamese restaurent in St Joseph if you want Pho
I am a regular customer. I often go by myself or with a date and I have also often recommended many people to enjoy this little gem in orleans. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but I don't understand how the same place can be so delicious to so many and terrible to a little few. There is more than one Vietnamese restaurant in Orleans and I know many people who prefer to go to Bien Pho than the other. Do yourself a favor and go try it. And keep your coupon. The food is awesome and extremely reasonably priced.
Good quality food and tasty. A little light on the meat ingredients but a lot of food overall. Zero ambiance for eat-in but it is not expected. Have not tried the Pho.

BTW: Message to an earlier poster: Since when does a vietnamese restauraunt need to have vietnamese servers to make it good? - a lot of pizza places are operated by lebanese people not italians and they're very good-wake up buddy!!!

The food I tried is beyond words. I had the pad thai and tasted my wife's curry chicken (yellow). The service was efficient and quick. Oh yea, did I mention the food. I will be going back next week. I do not hesitate to recommend.

I can't remember the names of the dishes because I ordered for the resident of CSLD Montfort. But the only thing that we can say that it was trully amazing !! We were 15 and I haven't hear one complaint !!! :O) For sure that we will do an other date with Bien Pho.

For the person who said the chicken was shawarma chicken....it's definately not. The chicken was marinated before being grilled in a soy/ginger combination. The only thing that was lacking is I wanted more veggies (besides the bean sprouts and lettuce) in with the noodles, chicken and springrolls.

I visit this place quite often for take out - the owner always greats me by my first name, and remembers my order. The food is good-great, and is consistent. I was excited to see a pho joint open in Orleans, and am impressed with the quality. I lived for sometime close to Sommerset and ate there regulary - even at that it still ranks amongst my favorites. The only downside is that the menu is limited on variety - but deffinately not on taste or quality.

There are a lot of great Pho places in Ottawa, so I feel really sorry for the people who end up here. But I guess since it is (as far as I know) the only Pho place in Orleans, some people take what they can get.
