First off people, it is still a chain restaurant with limited input to change. Many of their dishes are reasonable - Price and quality. Like to consider themselves better than the Keg for prime rib but really? Service is a little up and down. Management staff really impress and get it but service group, need some work. Still, decent place to dine!
This was our first visit to Milestones and we were really impressed. The atmosphere reminded me of Moxies but the food was WAY better. We ordered salmon, prime rib, surf & turf and pasta. The only meal lacking was the 'surf' in the surf and turf. Other than that it was great.. Service was prompt and caring, we will be back.
I went to Milestones for the first time for breakfast. I didn't even realize they had breakfast! I have the prime rib hash and it was just really think sliced beef sauteed in a bbq sauce with some peppers... It was filling. They launched their coconut pear pancakes and it was good but no coconut on the palate. Overall, I would stick to their dinner menu.
Surprizingly attractive decor for a "mall" restaurant, and they were very accomodating when one of our party wanted to change tables because our original table was in a dark part of the restaurant. Staff was attractive and responsive..Maybe because it was during the off hours and not overly busy, the food came out very quickly. My Eggs Benedict -California style was tasty and just right for a brunch time meal.The avocado and hollandaise worked well with the poached eggs that had just the right amount of runnyness. Coffee was good and refilled without request. My partners Chicken Penne was very tasty and accompanied by flavourful garlic bread.Found the staff to be attentive, but not obstrusive. Overall, a very pleasant brunch experience.
While we were hesitant to try, we did one evening for dinner and found ourselves pleasantly surprised for being in a mall. Gorgeous restaurant decor and good service too. I liked the vibe, it was relaxed and more quiet than some others in the same class. The food was tasty and well-prepared. I liked the menu options; they were inventive, non-mainstream, and creatively different. The specials offer a chance to try pricier items that I'd normally not order: drinks, etc. This isn't a run of the mill place that serves wings and nachos! They are a bit pricey but I'd still return.
The food here is great, the menu seems to change fairly often and keep it fresh. It is not the best food in the city but you will find dishes here that you won't find at a lot of other places. The prices seem maybe a little bit high, but honestly I am happy to pay for them given the atmosphere. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Done mostly in dark grays and browns contrasted with steel and white. One end of the room is taken up by huge windows that let in a lot of light during the day. The kitchen is open with a glass wall separating it from the dinning area. Overall it is a nice dinning experience made more surprising by the fact that it is located in a mall
