great diner atmosphere (Flo's)

Great meals. Food was all fresh and high quality. Eggs to order, breakfast meats tasty, coffee is good and ample. Not much atmosphere except for the working class people, mostly men before work or lunch break. Everyone seemed very at ease and unpretentious including the staff who were eager to please. The servers hustle and make sure food is served hot. Thumbs up for good food, clean environment and upbeat atmosphere of patrons and staff

Breakfast Dinner Style

Typical dinner style breakfast. Food was hot and cooked to order. It was served in good time and coffee refills were offered before the cup was empty. I would consider going here anytime for breakfast if I was in the area.

Decent food, but they constantly screw up your order. I worked nearby and ate here quite often, either for breakfast or for lunch. More often than not they will screw up your order, almost always leaving something out or not cooking it properly. I'd usually get the 2.99 breakfast special if I worked the early shift and most of the time, the hash browns were undercooked. It got to the point where I had to request they be deep fried or substitute them out for french fries. Other times I'd order lunch and they'd leave something out like the napkins, utensils and one time I ordered the chicken strips and fries and it came without any sauce, even though I specifically told them to include the plum sauce. I was utterly disappointed and my birthday lunch and treat to myself was completely ruined. Made the rest of my day miserable. I would have called to complain but I was only given a half hour for lunch, and that would've taken up even more of my already too short lunch break. (Which by the way was the only break all day we got) I will definitely not be going back there ever again, that's for sure. If you insist on going here for lunch, I suggest you call your order ahead, especially if you work in the area because their lunches are busy and you'll be lucky to even have a chance to order and get your food before 20 minutes are up.

I came to this place years ago, then I did forget about it. Took my family there little over a month ago, and we've become a regular there. The toasted westerns with cheese are really good, try it if you like cheese( oh & toasted westerns)MM. They have my vote there..Everything is homemade, you want turkey, you get the real meat, not this other stuff you can buy..The soup is really good , but it sometimes look like thick goop, I say the thicker the better..You don't want some runny stuff, ( do ya? ). At lunch during the week the waitresses don't walk they run to get your orders out. The food is good & fast..Try it sometime and if you don't like it well then don't return, but when you say" I like this food", they will be happy to see you again..It looks small from the outside but don't let that fool ya, there's alot of room inside.

I've eaten at James Place for years, generally at lunchtime before retirement and now for breakfast since retirement. I try other restaurants which are much closer to my home but keep ending up at James Place (nearly an 8 mile drive) because the food and service are so great. Their coffee is amongst the best available and the price is more than fair for what's offered. The atmosphere is not elaborate but it is clean and pleasant.

Great little diner, delicious food, large amount and very cheap. cant get enough of that diner atmosphere. I will definately visit James' place restaurant again.
