I will say one thing the staff is absolutely incredible and kind. Unfortunately the vet himself, he is the reason my cat is not here anymore. My chugs was a happy and healthy boy, he randomly started throwing up and losing weight very quickly, I noticed this in him and quickly took him for an appointment to diagnose what’s going on, after spending 550$ for bloodwork, he basically told me he’s fine and nothing is wrong it’s just old age and to do soft food. East Middlesex animal hospital is a excellent veterinary service. The staff is wonderful and Dr Dez is a awesome vet. He is excellent at diagnosis and treatment of animals. They are very quick and efficient to make your appointment. I would recommend this clinic for your pets treatment and needs.

If you'd like your dog healthy and happy don't take them here cuz if you have any concerns they're going to completely ignore you just take a lot of your money and send you home so that your pet dies in less than a week after they've seen these events horrible I wish that I could take further action against them

This vet and his team burnt the skin off my 11pd dogs trsticles while "prepping" him for neutering. Burns got infected and my dog is traumatized. Negligence at its best. -1 star .

Dr. Alex and his staff provide excellent care at affordable prices. I should have taken the advice of my friends and switched to EMAH several years ago.

I would never take a animal here again told me my Cat just had constipation! Would not listen to what I was telling him about his health changes. Had a second opinion he had stomach cancer! Had to have him put to sleep a few days ago, all this Vet was worried about was his weight believe me he had lost a lot by the time we said goodbye.

I won't take my word to anyone else. The Dr and his team are the best!

Neglected to notify of his vacation schedule prior to booking surgery. After our puppy came out of surgery, he tells us that he cannot remove sutures because he is away, tells us that any other clinic will perform this for free; even his recommended emergency clinic charges a fee for the procedure. Will not return difference to us. Charged us for an incomplete procedure. I would not trust this vet in the future.

I believe that this is one of the best vets around always caring and kind staff . When ever I have had an emergency they have been there for me no matter the time of day . I find Dr Alex to be very knowlegeble and concerend on behalf of the animal . I have been going here know for about 8 yrs and i will continue to go they are a great place to have when you have pets !!! Lori

I am stunned reading Tom's post. We have been going to the East Middlesex Animal Hospital for a few years now. Our dog isn't always co-operative but both the staff and Dr. are able to accomplish what we come in for. We are ALWAYS greeted with a smile and friendly comments. Dr. Alex saved our dear dogs life by acting quickly to her needs. We hope they are here for many more years. It would be difficult to find service like this anywhere else. Tom, I'm sorry but knowing the staff I can honestly say that I cannot believe anyone of them would ridicule your disability. These are kind and caring people. This post has really upset me, it is not fair to this hospital to be put down like this. DonnaT.

Forget this miserable establishment!

The vet's staff call the shots there and one of them is very, very rude. Absolutely no personalized attention. After 2 or 3 years they don't even know your pet's name. They don't seem to love animals. They love money I decided to go elsewhere when a receptionist mocked my disability (prosthetic leg) and had the gall to accuse ME of rudenerss when I took exception tyo her lack of sensitivity. Go figure!
