    Customer Service!!!! Fred from George’s Appliance Repair of Cobden has proven customer service is not dead! I had a morning appointment to have my dryer looked at, wait and waited no show. I was getting a liitle heated, call his shop at 3 50 pm Fred picked up. After a short discussion Fred realized he had made a mistake with the appointment, he drove to Petawawa from Cobden and had my dryer up and running before 5 pm!! Give me a little break on the cost of the repair, Fred Thanks a bunch!!

    Seriously if you get referred to him for warrenty reasons demand some one else he will show up say hes fixed it and when you call him back he says he will come and never does and then never answers. we have had a washer severly leaking water since before christmas. this place is not worth your time... I am reporting him to warrenty service this is ridiculous!!!

    Got a quote to fix an appliance. Was charged for a service call. Got a quote to fix part. $30 I looked up the part number when he left. He was right - they sold for $30-$40 new at part stores. $10-$20 online on auction sites. When he came back he charged $125 for the part. Ended up paying more than double what was originally quoted to fix the appliance.

    Really busy guy (since there are very few people in the area doing this anymore) ... so you may have to wait for service. Usually does a quick assessment to see if he CAN help you quickly. Patient. Explains situation well. Respectful of our home. We always use him.

    He come to look at my stove. ..wos problem in the electric Panel..could not fix it. ..he said nedd a part..take 3-4days to get it..waited 10days.. leavig fwe massages..no replay. .called a nother service man..come the some day..he find out (George TOOK PARTS OUT OF THE OVEN ) what has nothing to do with the problem ...THEY HAD TO BE REPLACED. .WOS EXPENSIVE. . HE PAID HIM SELF BY TAKENG THE GOOD PARTS ..... TERREBEL EXPERIENCE FOR ME

    I've always had the best experience with Fred. I purchased my appliances from their original business in Cobden decades ago and Fred still maintains them for me. Hes answered calls as late as 9 at night and I know my parents need his help on a regular basis. He gets it done the first time and I trust him with my house while I'm gone at work during the day

    If I could give less I would. This is the company who unfortunately is in charge of fixing my machine that is hnder warranty still. It has now been broke. For over a month, and every time someone comes to fix it a new issue pops up that is causing the same issue. As someone in the service industry they should be looking at things as a whole. If all parts were not recognized the first time as being broke. They should have been the second time. We are now still waiting for a part that was "express shipped" going over a week now. Having two small children a washing machine is a nessecity to my daily life and we have now been without one for over a month.
