For as long as she can remember, Denise Cooke has taken an interest in spiritual enlightenment. Her affinity for nature and all facets of life's spiritual movement of integrating mind, spirit and body propelled her to open Gypsy Moon, her metaphysical shop in Cloverdale Town Centre.
Whether you're on the spiritual fringe, a believer or practitioner who shares the philosophy, Denise can aid in your journey of spiritual enlightenment. "I see my job as a spiritual broker," says Denise. "I am open to help people that are interested in the pursuit of their personal spiritual journey to find whatever they need."
Denise's interest in horoscopes (she read them faithfully as a kid) as well as tarot cards was a sign that she embraced various aspects of the metaphysical. "At first I wanted to be a tarot card reader," reveals Denise. "I went through the learning process but didn't want to specialize in just one thing; I wanted to provide a place where people could follow their own path, so I opened Gypsy Moon in April 2010."
