"We have a rescue dog ourselves,” Tony Oljaca, owner of Accurate Alarms Ltd., told a CTV news reporter in May 2012. "We know what it's like for animals that don't have a home. So, hearing of 400 animals running around one piece of property, we just knew we had to do something."
Tony is referring to the time Accurate Alarms came to the rescue of a non-profit rescue society for old and homeless animals, when another security firm let them down. Tony and his team stepped in by donating and installing cameras and a surveillance system around the property to allow the rescue society to properly monitor the aging horses, goats, and other animals. "Thank you so much for coming to the rescue of our 'rescue,'" said one happy volunteer in a testimonial on the company's website.
