Woodworking runs deep in the family. My Dad was born and raised in Europe where he trained from the age of 14 in woodworking and cabinetry. In 1957 he moved to Argentina, where he continued training and working in the cabinetry trade for five years. It was then that he immigrated to Canada and settled in Kelowna with his new family in 1972. They began establishing their own custom cabinetry company, HB Woodcraft, and I grew up working in the family business.
My apprenticeship in the family shop began in 1995. I had tried to run away from the trade, but returned to Kelowna when I realized that fine, custom cabinetry and millwork was my calling.plus...Plus de texte
