If you’re looking to step into the world of salsa dancing, then World DanceCo is the place to start. Established in 1996, the studio teaches a wide range of dance styles, but specialises in salsa, including Columbian, Cuban, Puerto Rican and LA-American Style. And they’re pretty good at it too—World Dance Co’s Cuban Salsa dance team have been world champions four times since they started competing.
Competition is just a small part of what’s possible at World Dance Co. Ultimately, it’s a place to learn, play, and get a little exercise. It also stresses multiculturalism, exposing participants to dances from around the world such as tango, west-coast swing and Irish dance.
