St. Matthews Day Care Society offers full-time day care for children from four months to school age, a two-hour pre-school program and before/after school care for children attending Edmonds Community School, as well as full-time weekly and monthly summer camps.
Since the 1970s, parents have been able to rest assured knowing they are leaving their children in good hands at St. Matthews Day Care Society. “All of our staff are trained in early childhood education and first aid. They are always continuing their education to bring fresh ideas to the classroom,” says Maureen, the day care's director.
Maureen started as a teacher in the three-year-olds program at St. Matthews many years ago. Since then, she has had the opportunity to witness the day care grow and develop as an important part of the community.
