Founded in 2000 by Yves Charron, Geronimo is dedicated to providing custom work and maintaining high ethical standards. “We’re a pretty traditional tattoo shop,” explains Yves. “We’re here for people who know what they want. We only do custom work that is unique and sentimental to our customers.”
Working within these parameters, Geronimo Tattoo & Piercing Studio takes a different approach to tattooing than other shops. “We’ll rarely tattoo anything on a kid – only if their parent comes in with them,” explains Yves. “Too many kids come in here looking for tattoos on their hands or their necks. I usually refuse service. Nothing against those kinds of tattoos, but I think that’s too big a commitment for a teenager to make. Most of the time, their parents call me and thank me for that.”
