Long and Kayla Tran started #1 Nails & Spa in 2012, and have been offering quality aesthetic care ever since. The salon offers everything you’d expect, from manicures and pedicures to their popular shellac treatments. “We have more than 400 colours,” Long says proudly. With that much variety, there’s a colour or design for every taste.

Long says that starting the business was a relatively straightforward process, since Kayla had always had an interest in nail care. The hardest part? “Finding the right nail technicians,” Long says. With a customer-focused approach, Long was very selective in his approach to hiring staff members. That pickiness is reflected in the salon’s positive reputation.

    I went on Friday to the na to get a pedicure and manicure the lady who helped me wasn’t busy at all by rush through my pedicure only took the dead skin only off the heal and no where else she push the shellac on me even though I told her I didn’t want it. She did a better job on the nails, but maybe because you can watch they are doing more closely. I have been going to the nail place since we moved to Walden but have never had such bad service and the price was expensive for what you got.

    Tracy did a great job. Got a pedicure and manicure and tried out ombré nails for the first time. She was really professional and thorough and offered a fantastic service. Will definitely be back after such a great first impression!
