As a neighbourhood restaurant, I am a frequent patron at Lone Star in Kanata. Typically very fast to seat you, they also provide unlimited nachos and salsa to tide you over while you wait. We found the staff to be very friendly and were glad to give us directions to the different places in town. The service was fast and the waitress was very polite and freindly. The serving of food were large and hot. They have a large assortement of food on their menu and they made you feel welcome as soon as you entered the restaurant. I am new to SFs (3 yrs). Man Ling Restaurant is the only Chinese restaurant (except for 1 in Brockville) that I eat at, for a number of reasons: First all of their food is MSG-free, is fabulous and always fresh (nothing heated up from 2 hours ago). The best egg rolls ever and my favourite is beef and green peppers. I have eaten there over 25 times and it's always perfect. Hats off to Man Ling. Don't forget the service, relaxed and friendly staff. My favourite restaurant of all time (a 10). Lire plus

My wife and i came here for a night out. We had been recomended the Brew Table by the concierge at the Holiday Inn down the street. We had the steak frites and it was incredible. Cooked perfectly and the service was the best i have ever recieved anywhere. An amazing dining experience all around from appetizer to dessert. Great food that is well priced keeps us coming back over and over again. The atmosphere is nothing spectacular but it is clean and well maintained. It simply doesn't wow. We drop in frequently for a quick meal and order one of the vermicelli bowl dishes. Coupled with green tea it makes for a very tasty and satisfying meal. When we visit with more people we like to order a variety of dishes and have yet to be disappointed. The sizzling seafood platter is particularly tasty. Overall not a particularly flashy restaurant, but great food at good prices keeps us coming back over and over again. Lire plus

The food is great here, and the people are even better. I love Chinese food, and this place is consistently delivering great bang for your buck. We usually get egg rolls, chicken balls, crispy beef (spicy), and beef with broccoli. Around 55 bucks and we feed two adults and 3 children with it and still have some great leftovers.
