Good but noisy

We visited on a Wednesday night in early September and should have had reservations. This place is apparently always packed and it's not hard to see why. The food was excellent and the service very good (every one of the wait staff was fully occupied but each one either cleaned away a plate or asked how we were doing as they passed by). Portion sizes were adequate without being overwhelming. The desserts - wow - I *almost* licked my plate! However, my suggestion would be to expand the premises - there were so many people jammed into the small acoustically 'live' space that it was almost impossible to carry on a conversation. Aside from that one detraction I would definitely eat there again but would most definitely make a reservation for one of the outside tables.

We stopped at this little bistro in Wellington while we were in the Prince Edward County area to visit vineyards. There are many little places in the area, but for a Monday many were closed. This place was fancy-ish. We went for lunch, but I felt that for dinner it would have been outside of our price range. The service was good, we were brought bread and butter after ordering, and I honestly have nothing wrong to say about this place. Because we were starved from driving all morning and visiting a lot of places, the portions felt a bit on the small side, but then again, this was probably because we were really hungry and it was appropriate. Their menu is fairly small, but its probably for the best because they keep to their specialities.

This is the neatest little place. Exelent food is a cute dining room with a beautiful patio. Oh ya if you are a little restless or have to wait they have a fantastic gourmet shop right there. One neat place.
