They have the best chicken souvlaki and best deep beef! salads are always fresh and tasty! the fish and chips is authentic and the best i’ve had in Canada! i truly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, fresh ingredients, friendly staff!
My wife and I went for dinner on Fri. Feb.10/12. This is one of the finest restaurants in the Trenton/Belleville area. The decor is very nice and the tables/booths are comfortable.
We ordered: for appetizers, French Onion Soup (5.79) and Mushroom Caps(9.25)... both were delicious. Entrees, Veal Neptune (21.49) and a 7 oz. New York Steak (18.49). My wife really enjoyed the veal and my steak was extremely tender and tasted great. Our service was fast and friendly.. thanks Christine. We will definitely return.

I visited my girlfriend recently in Trenton, and we decided to try Golden Valley. The piano player was very nice, and the food was fabulous! the dining room was very clean and beautiful. Staff were very friendly, and helpful.
My wife and I went for dinner on Oct.7/10. The decor is very nice in the restaurant and has two levels. The service is fast and friendly. The food continues to be very good and we have yet to be disappointed. My wife's lobster dinner was cooked to perfection and my steak was tender and cooked as I had requested.
We will return.
Went to the Golden valley to celebrate my birthday. The food was EXCELLENT!!! Couldn't have asked for a better steak. All of our orders were cooked to perfection. Greek salad, and caesar salad..best in town. Nicely surprised at the end of dinner, waitress brought me a piece of strawberry shortcake, with a candle to say happy birthday! The only thing negative that I could say would be that the restaurant could use some updating in decor. I felt like I was back in the 80's.
went here on valenties for dinner and had a really good experience. every thing was cooked very well and the portions were awesome I had asked for a blue martini and had goten just a regular one instead I told the waitress that I asked for a blue one and she said no mam you did not. I said Yes I did and husband had said that I did. The lady at the next table who I did not even know said that she heard me say it. the waitress had said were out of the blue stuff. I got mad becasue she called me a lier in a sence..I did not drink my drink I did not like how strong it was and it did not even have the olives in it.
some people need to pay attention in this place
This was our first visit to Golden Valley. The decor is open concept with 2 floors and it is very elegant and nicely laid out. We had a table for two on the 2nd floor (too bad the piano player was off sick). Comfortable chairs, but if I had to say anything negative, it would be that the table was just too small. Next visit we will ask for a booth. The waitress was very good and took our drink order shortly after we sat down and was very prompt with our entire meal. The food was very good with the steak being very tender and the shrimp were tasty. The baked potato and veggies were cooked perfectly. My wife's lobster tail was so good she later wished she had ordered 2. The Caesar salad was excellent and not to be missed!
This restaurant is one of the better ones in the Belleville/Trenton area. We will definitely return.
I first went to The Golden Valley in December 1990 for a small wedding dinner. It was a very pleasant setting with awesome service, food and atmosphere. Since then I've been back on several occasions with the most recent being just a couple of weeks ago, when both my husband and I stopped in for lunch. Again, I will compliment the restaurant and to the owners I thank you for making each time I visit a very memorable one.
Simply divine is the only way i could describe this meal. From our starter to the entree nothing but the best. Fillet was cooked to perfection as well as the lobster. The service was great as usual. Thank you for making our Anniversary a special one.
I went to the Golden Valley Take-Out because I didn't want to eat in and I was told that they have the best pizza in the world. I ordered and lg combo and you get a free large caesar salad for $21.46 and my god the pizza was the best that I have ever had. I will come back for more.
This is a place I would recommend to my out of town Family thats visits on occasion.The service is excellent the hostess are very polite and the food was excellent. will go back again
I took a party of 5 to the golden valley restaurant for dinner and it was the best experiance of our lives not only was the food amazing but the atmosphere was amazing. The services was excellent couldnt ask for better because you can't find any better then what they have. The food was magnificent it was so juicy and tender the right amount of food. I have eat at many restaurants and no body can get a nicer and better tasting piece of Prime Rib then they can. The chicken was awsome I don't know what they marenate then in but it was and amazing taste. They are going to be very successful. I very much recommend everyone to go and eat at the golden valley restaurant you will be satisfied.
We went the The Golden Valley fRestaurant for dinner with a group of friends. Everything was wonderful. The service was fantastic...we love Heather, the food was as wonderful as always. The chicken was very tender and the Greek salad was delicious as usual. We will definitely be back again.
