Bruno Duarte’s brainchild, Fresh Floral Creations, has specialized in creating and designing unique floral arrangements since its inception in 2005.
Portuguese-born Bruno moved to Toronto in 1989 and fell into the flower business by accident. “During my early days here, I swept the floors at flower shops and floral arrangement boutiques to make money, which was my initial contact with the floral design world,” says Bruno. He enjoyed working in the floral industry and went on to study floral design at Humber College. “The rest is history,” he says.
Fresh Floral Creations’ artistic approach enables Bruno and his team of five to work on virtually any kind of project from everyday home arrangements to grandiose settings. "We create unique pieces for weddings, bar-mitzvahs, garden parties. As long as it involves flowers and the customer’s will to create a beautiful, inviting ambiance, we’re there. We even do planters, indoor plants and corporate environments. There’s no limit, really," says Bruno.
