Great quality meats. Awesome variety of beef,pork and poultry. Great customer service. Excellent prices. Large variety of sausage. And now they sell butter tarts!! Best butter tarts I have ever had!

We had an animal butchered here and I'm afraid I don't trust the Integrity of this business. It was a Highland cow with long horns, which we asked to keep. They told us "the inspector wouldn't allow it that day." When I called the inspector, they said that wasn't the case. Wonder where those horns are today?

2 weeks this Thursday I purchased a verity sausages from Smokey Joe's Butchers Shop on Hwy #7 just out side of Peterborough ON towards Fowlers Corners. They were the best homemade sausage I have ever tasted. I do recommend that if you like to buy your meat at a butcher Shop try Smokey Joe's
