We’re a nation of coffee drinkers here in Canada, and it’s especially true in Ottawa, but there’s something to be said for the ritual of drinking tea that makes it extra special. Tea aficionados already know this of course. Not only does it force us to slow down – spooning the leaves into an infuser, waiting for the water to boil, waiting for the tea to steep – it forces us to stop, take a deep breath, and be mindful of the moment. This is a good thing, especially given how hectic our lives can be sometimes.
Selection of tea was great. But just like many others here mentioned, stuff was incredibly disorganized, rude and soooo slow. It wasn't just to me, they were the same to others too. And I am a pretty low maintenance person. I left the store with my purchase but skipped my drink as I couldn't watch such unprofessionalism. My guess they count on lots of first time visitors and tourists and don't have too many regulars. It's a shame.
