Never Again
I went in to get my battery replaced today it was a bit on the pricey side but I didn't care too much because I collected $80 in Canadian Tire money. When I got my Honda Keys back I immediately noticed that the key was fractured to a point of being in almost two pieces almost like it could talk to you by opening and closing with a chunk of plastic missing. I immediately complained asked the automotive manager what happened to my key and his response was "you gave it to us like that!" what!? I gave them a set of keys broken in almost half? I argued to no avail due to the entire automotive department telling the same lie that's how I brought it in and the manager also said "its a 2006 this is wear and tear!" I was like are you for real!? So a $220 key will fall apart because its a 2006!? I tried to get the counter person to write on my receipt that it was not broken when I gave him the receipt and the automotive manager ripped the paper away from him! Wow then I call the store manager and I get the same automotive manager coming with her with the same lies of it "coming like that" so they offer to pay half $110 for a key They broke don't know how plus I already had to pay$160 for the battery. I called head office same thing offering half for something I did nothing to deserve. Even the people at heads office said if the key was broken they would have noted it coming in! So in conclusion I am Never! Ever! going to Canadian Tire for any sort of car service even if it was Free because they will crash your car into a wall and say...."that's they way it came IN!!!"
