Someone told me this place had great wings, so my wife and I stopped for dinner. Big let-down! The wings are advertised, on the menu, as jumbo but that's only if you're used to eating sparrow wings! They were small and arrived dried up and hard. This is likely due to the lack on meat on them. My wife ordered the halibut dinner and it came with some boiled veggies, pasty fries and a halibut fillet that you could of bounced off the floor. Never again. The only thing going for this place is it's happening location on the water next to the causeway.
Have lived in the area for years and Slurp n Burp has always been my favorite spot for breakfast. Good food, good service, bottomless coffee and fabulous location with outdoor patio overlooking lake. Technically a greasy spoon but they don't get any better than this. Largely a secret of the locals.
I've driven past this place many time but have never stopped. Today we were out for a motorcycle ride and brother said someone had recommended it on one of the motorcycle forums so we stopped. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of good food and very quick service. Will definitely return here for a good hearty breakfast.
