Posh Pooch Hotel & Daycare Inc

I have been using Posh Pooch for a few years when we go out of town - up to 15 days straight. I never wonder if my girl is lonely or sad because she gets to socialize with all the daycare pooches and staff all day. They ensure immunizations are up to day if you stay and she always comes back to me healthy, happy and clean.

Charged us for a stay that we cancelled well in advance. Instead of apologizing for their mistake they charged us for half the stay we booked and told me that I was lying. We will not return.

Avoid!!!

I took my dog here and he came home with a wicked case of kennel cough. He is fully vaccinated and well taken care of, but somehow came home quite sick. A few hundred dollars at the vet later and I had meds to accompany the diagnosis. I phoned to let them know and they were less than friendly about it. Their lack of compassion was surprising as most people in the dog industry understand an owner's concern and are equally concerned themselves. This was not the case at Posh Pooch. They have a bad attitude there and I will not be bringing my buddy back. There is a lack of space at their facility and therefore the dogs are confined to the "warehouse". I would prefer my dog had compassionate handlers with a wealth of experience and space to operate. Posh pooch does not offer this. Posh Pooch advertises that they are excellent dog handlers and claim to be able to deal with all types of dogs, but that isn't the case either. They have a lack of quality experience and it shows. They have given up on dogs in the past which is alarming as a quality operation would diagnose a dog's issues and handle accordingly. A friend was told not to bring their dog back as it was "too difficult".Everything from the top down is second tier and I would definitely recommend you take your dog to a better suited establishment. Posh Pooch is awesome !

Location is great southside, yet only about 10 minutes from downtown or just 20 minutes from the north side of the Anthony Henday! Staff are all very friendly, upbeat and extremely knowledgeable. There's not a lot of "frills", just a really well thought out floor plan and lots of room for the dogs to play! There's also bathing facilities there that you can either bathe your own dog or they will bathe them for you for a reasonable price. One of the things I love best about this daycare is the hours ! They are open later than most and are open 7 days a week and even offer over night stays! I completely trust them with my dogs and my dogs seem to be very happy there!
