Le fournil Bakery = hidden gem!

Le fournil is an absolute hidden gem. An authentic European-style bakery with all the comforts of home. Their croissants are melt in your mouth, and I cannot stop raving about their carrot cake! Reasonable prices and friendly staff; I send everyone that I know to Le fournil for lattés and delicious, freshly baked snacks.

Ordered and paid for the croissant and egg breakfast platter. Was given a little flagpole with a number and took a seat at a table outside to wait for our food. After 30 minutes.....no food. A table of 4 that came in well after us all received their cooked food. Not us. After about 45 minutes, and two false claims that we had not ordered what we ordered (I had the receipt) they still did not bring us our food; just a refund. But they kept the GST and generous tip. Outrageous!!!
