Bathing your dog at home can lead to cleaning your whole house: hair and water gets everywhere, your tub gets scratched up, and your walls and floors get wet. It can also be expensive to regularly bring your pet to a groomer. Launder-A-Pet offers a self-service bathing option with plenty of advantages compared to doing it at home or using the pet wash at the local car wash.
Launder-A-Pet opened in 1995, and in addition to the self-service wash, it offers full-service grooming, doggy daycare, and obedience and agility classes. It also works with an out-of-town kennel as a drop-off/pick-up location.
“We just have a love of dogs,” says Sheila Johnson, who bought the business in 2003. “We have even had cats and rabbits in for self-serve.”
Our Herbie has been a regular at Launder a Pet for his whole life. He is almost 8 and has been treated so very well. The gals take such good care of him and he always looks so sharp when we pick him up.
Next step is agility perhaps :)
I can not say enough good things about Launder-a-Pet and their doggy daycare service. My little dog just loves Sheila so much, he goes running off to her without a backward glance at me when I drop him off. Tish and the rest of the staff are great too. I know my pet is getting the best of care in their knowledgeable hands!
