Jill Taylor does her research. Although she only became an official partner of AtomicDog in 2013, she’s been part of the business since the very beginning. Her business partner Callie Simpson started things. “We travelled the whole province,” Jill recalls, “checking out all the other boutiques and dog grooming places. We took pictures and notes of everything we liked and didn’t like.” That research helped them create a pet store that’s surprisingly different from the big box norm, both in approach to business and in the products and services offered.
AtomicDog is the area’s biggest supplier of raw food and one of only a handful of stores in the country that offers Thera-Clean micro-bubble baths. This treatment not only cleans dogs, but is extremely good for their skin and coat. “We’ve had a lot of success with dogs with serious skin issues,” Jill says. Because of the micro-bubble bath’s effectiveness, many animals have been able to go drug-free for the first time in years.
Gill has been wonderful to me and my threee dogs, no issues whatsoeve. My dogs love going there and when groomed the groomers are very gentle and accommodating. I love the store and the variety of different products. I love this store ! Patricia
I brought my dog in to be clipped. I said not to do his tail at all. They asked if they could trim his tail a bit. Apparently a bit means different things to different people. They cut 4-5 inches off. His tail looks horrible now. I wont be bringing my dog back here.
I took my dog in to get brushed out (undercoat hair taken out) and when my boyfriend came back with him he just got bathed! He was still wet... If we wernt heading back to fort mcmurray right away i would have got them to redo it.. We payed 90$ for nothing :(
